Some of us got to make it to the Detroit beer fest. It was a perfect fall day to enjoy some of the best Michigan has to offer. Check out some pics of this great sunny day. After the fest we headed to Leeper MI for the made in Michigan film fest where the film was being shown. A big thanks to the fest for having us it was a great time. Can’t wait for Feb. 26th the winter beer fest in Grand Rapids. It will mark the one year since we did the trip for Locally buzzed.
LOCALLY BUZZED will be releasing the DVD of the film in the next couple months. When its out we will be taking the rd and doing the trip one more time, but this time we will have the results from the trip before. Keep checking back for updates on the film.
I’d like to start out by giving a huge thank you to Ludington resident and artist Scott Bentz for painting up this amazing piece of artwork for us that we are using on our posters!
Also a huge thank you to Lou at The Muskegon Chronicle for writing an excellent spot for us in the recent Sunday Edition of their publication!
Much appreciation to everyone who came out to watch the film at Original Gravity Brewery in Milan on Saturday night!
Most importantly don’t forget about our two home-town movie premieres this Thursday and Friday!

Hey guys and gals, I am sitting here on the top floor of The Livery in Benton Harbor, drinking a Maple Schleide. What a great glass of beer! I am enjoying myself on a great Michigan late summers night at one of the state’s best breweries showing our film to a crowd of amazing people.
This past week the filmed opened and we have had such a great time! Thank you to everyone at the Art of Beer Festival and the Riviera Theatre for two great first showings!
Stay tuned for upcoming news on new showings in our Showings section. Hopefully we’ll seeya at our next three showings! Milan, Muskegon and Grand Rapids!

It’s all coming together. We just did one final interview with Steve Buszka from Muskegon Brewing & Distilling. He has been working hard on this project for about 4 years. He purchased a building in downtown Muskegon in 2006. Since then he has been fighting the struggling economy and is still seeking enough financial backing to open the doors. It’s truly great seeing a person take such a risk just to improve the local area. Having a brewery in Muskegon is very exciting for this community. I simply can’t wait to sit down in this place and drink one of his beers. I also got to make it out to the summer beer fest in Ypsilanti MI. The local beer fests in this state are some of the best times I ever had. Keep an eye out for upcoming fests around the state. Also check some great pics from this past weeks travels. Also LOCALLY BUZZED at The Harbor Theater in Muskegon MI on Sept. 9th, and join us for an after party at Pints and Quarts.
Check out the Riviera Theater, LOCALLY BUZZED will be showing on August 21st. . We will still be showing it at the ART OF BEER FESTIVAL in Benton Harbor. Check that out if you are in the area. Also check out some pics from the last couple weeks and some last minute interviews.
Also since we are using exclusively michigan made music only in our film we thought it would be a great idea to throw up a tiny bit of scrap footage together featuring one of our bands US BEAT with their song “MADE IN MICHIGAN”
tonight Ryan, Matt, James, and I had a great little night in the studio piecing together our late interviews with the guys at founder and bells. We are going to sit down at Pints and Quarts in Muskegon Monday night July 19th. Come on in and have a few with us!
Meanwhile check out James repping his oldschool Schwinn Stingray.
thanks for checking in!
